The construction works started when the first Portuguese Viceroy Dom Francisco de Almeida got permission from the Cochin Raja to build a church. Periyar National Park
Periyar National Park is also known as Periyar Tiger Reserve in the north there is a beautiful Lake which is called Periyar Lake that famous for the boat ride. This national park is home to tigers and a major number of the elephant population, as well as unique lion-tailed macaques, sambar deer, leopards etc. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel & later enjoy the amazing boat ride in the Periyar lake. Later enjoy Kalaripayattu sightseeing which is one of the greatest martial art (3000 years old) & most scientific of all martial arts in the world.Day 6: Aleppy/Alappuzha

Ponnumthuruthualso known as Golden Island is an island in Varkala of Trivandrum district in Kerala. It is situated in Anjengo lake. The island is a property of a Valiyapurakkal Family. The island also contain a Hindu temple that is 100 years old.
